Don't you want me?

Horrible lyrics - but Foster Mama adapted The Human League's "Don't you want me baby?" to make a song about me...

You were living as a doggie in a foster home,
When I met you.
I picked you out, I shook you up, and turned you around
Made you a doggie new.
Now five weeks later on you've got the world at your feet,
Training has been easy for you.
But don't forget it's me who put you where you are now,
And I'd never let you down no.
Don't, don't you want me?
You know I can't believe it when I hear that you can't love me
Don't, don't you want me?
You know I don't believe you when you say that you can't love me.
It's much too late to find
You think you've changed your mind
You'd better change it back or you will so be sorry
Don't you want me baby? Don't you want me oh
Don't you want me baby? Don't you want me oh
I was living as a doggie in a foster home
That much is true.
I knew that I had landed in a much better place,
To forget past owners I must do...
Don't, don't you want me?
