I'm a happy dog!

Foster mom took these pictures of me today in the hopes that my petfinder photo could be updated with one in which I'm not covered with facial scars. You can read my backstory at the BFPA site - it's a sad one - but despite my troubled past I've recovered fully and I've got a new leash on life now!

Foster mom also recorded a video of me wrestling with Zoe. Apparently this type of play is just not in Zoe's nature. Foster mom said Zoe must really like and trust me!  I sure do like Zoe!

Road trip

Zoe, Foster mom and I went to Winston-Salem Saturday to spend Easter with Foster mom's family.

As you can see in the attached video I thoroughly enjoyed the fenced yard at Foster mom's brother's house!  I have a feeling I'm going to really miss my new friend Charlie!

The photo below was taken in the car at a red light before we left Winston-Salem's city limits. I spent the remaining 75 minutes zonked out on a dog bed in the back seat, and when we got home I came inside to do more of the same.

Foster mom watches America's Next Top Model and I heard her grumbling something about "ear amputee," but I assure you that I DO have two ears.

I slept soundly for hours and hours that night!

Meet me, Rusty!

I'm Rusty, and I came home with Zoe and my foster mom today. I'm an Australian (stumpy-tailed) cattle dog (Red Heeler) mix. Foster mom snagged these photos from the BFPA web site and the previous foster home, so you can't tell that I'm actually a bit chunky right now. I'll be working on shedding at least a few pounds!

I get along really well with Zoe - a tiny terrier mix - and we love to play with each other. Zoe needs to lose a little weight, too, so I 'm not too embarrassed about my chunky frame.

Won't you help me find my forever home please?
